Our palazzo for the week
The estate of "Il Villino & Le Scuderie" is surrounded by an enormous private park, gardens, vineyards and fruit orchards. A private swimming pool has found its perfect place overlooking the valley.
Located in the heart of the world-famous Chianti wine region, this country estate commands a breathtaking view from the hillsides of the town of Lamole. Just 35 km far from both Florence and Siena.

Wine tasting and a cooking class! Our villa is surrounded by vineyards and wineries and we will indulge in a fabulous local cooking class!

The creativity of Tuscan architects, sculptors and painters is unparalleled in the Western world. Tuscany is known for its beautiful landscapes, its rich artistic legacy and vast influence on high culture. Tuscany is widely regarded as the true birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.
There are 453 museums and galleries in ten provinces of Tuscany! We will carefully curate art visits, with interesting twists and themes that we will bring back to the Villa to explore.
Studio time will be about your creative process, whether you've never touched a brush to paper before or are an artist with a legacy like Michelangelo!
You will find yourself in a safe space to ponder, to try new things, to inspire and be inspired by the atmosphere, your fellow artists, and your expressive art facilitators, Cindy and Abby.
The details.
All meals, snacks and wine at the villa are included. Meals out are not included. Several dinners will be prepared at the villa by a private chef.
Each guest will have a luxurious private bedroom.
Public transportation and museum entry fees are included. Custom art history tours at each museum, all studio project instruction and art materials are included. Airfare is not included, nor transportation to the villa from the airport.
The retreat cost is $3450 per person.
Double occupancy $3000 per person
Limit is 8 people. A non-refundable $1000 deposit is required when you register;
the balance is due July 15, 2022. There are no refunds after the balance has been paid. Travel insurance is recommended in case of cancellation.

We are partners in Bohemia, an art studio in Boulder, Colorado. Abby has been empowering people creatively and leading art retreats all over Colorado for years. Cindy has led many informal trips to her childhood home of Paris, has lived and traveled extensively abroad, and knows the ins and outs of Paris. We love bringing art to people, and people to art!
What is the fatal charm of Italy? What do we find there that can be found nowhere else? I believe it is a certain permission to be human, which other places, other countries, lost long ago.
